Austin Blades was founded in 2010 by Mike and Sarah Thompson, lifelong knife enthusiasts who saw a need for a dedicated knife retailer in Central Texas.

What started as a small booth at local gun shows has grown into Austin's largest knife specialty store, carrying over 2,000 knives from more than 50 brands.

Our mission is simple: help every customer find the perfect blade for their needs, whether that's a professional chef looking for their first Japanese knife, or a collector hunting for a rare limited edition.
